Created the skin for this, along with the design and CSS of the website for ATIO on AOL Body. Just checking it out, see how the snaggable feature works

To my eye to see someone finally get it. Someone in the business that gets what art and music are all about, what voices they have and how they can be nurtured into fruition by purely supporting their vision and encouraging them without telling them how they have to do it. Trent’s world of music has been a strong one since he started, and he didn’t take shit from Labels that treated him poorly (thus leaving TVT for Interscope on certain conditions). This article explains his approach, and really shows how a musician can have a lasting career without insane amounts of corruption. We see so few of these artists today, for one reason of another. It doesn’t mean they aren’t out there (Underworld? Yes. Modest Mouse? Yes.), and it doesn’t mean there aren’t great groups around that will follow in this path with their future careers (too many hopefuls to list, but most have not been around since 1989, so we won’t know for sure). We can only hope. By the way, I love the album. It has it quirks and loses me lyrically at times, but for the most part, it’s Trent to the bone. Don’t forget to read the comment in this article as well, he’s just as important to it. Blog Post about NIN
