Some great poster designs to check out. Love the use of colors & patterns, and beautiful type. I actually like the more naughty ones the best, but I’ll keep this a lil more PG ;)

The Letter

CRN Mag CoverI finally got a chance to scan the CRN Magazine that has my letter to the editor in it. It’s funny because I never read this mag, but I saw this posting doing a little bashing on Apple, and since I didn’t think the bashing was warranted, I emailed the guy. They end up printing it.

Greenpoint in the news again

Wow! Now we have Cuomo stopping the atrocities that Exxon has done nothing about for over a quarter decade! I hope this leads to a quick solution and cleanup, because I dig the area and don’t want to pack up just yet. Amazing what these companies get away with. Read up my people:

BRAVO!

Apple Jobs

Thou holiest of Apple geekery, Steve Jobs, has finally spoken out about DRM, it’s failure, and revealed his opinion about the ‘Big Four’ music companies, Europe pay attention you fools! Obviously you don’t understand your gripe towards Apple, since as I’ve always said, it’s not the iTunes + iPod closed system that’s the problem—it’s the music companies’ stick up their you know what. This statement brings a gawd damn tear to my eye, finally settling the score. Here’s to finally having true online music stores! Check it out!

A big middle, er… thumbs up to the Boston Bomb Squad.

Aqua Teen Hunger Force Ad
Paranoia sets in, a bomb squad is on the scene, a tv station is overhyping, an Attorney General is getting even, a city is at a stand still. Big thanks to the Prez for instilling fear into every human in this country, and letting some of his stupidity rub off on our authorities. His incompetitence isn’t his problem however, it’s the problem of a couple of guys who ‘masterminded’ the campaign. Thanks for trying to get these two locked up, without them the morons of Boston will be better off. PHEW! Disaster averted.

David Guetta Vs The Egg: Love Don’t Let Me Go

A pretty kick-ass video, I kinda like the song, but the typical soulful vocals is just too 90s. If it was an instrumental, it’d be killer! But who cares, just watch it!

I’ve been tagged…

By the lovely Margaux Lange. Of course :-)

1. Since I was 16 I have been playing the harmonica, which I started out listening to John Popper of Blues Traveller (playing it really loud in my room made it ’sound better’) but still play to this day, and have gigged in NYC every now and then with friends.

2. I did become an official Lego Maniac back in the 80s, You had to sign up and got a newsletter, pretty darn sahweet! :-) Still a Lego Maniac.

3. I’m a pretty avid dancer, and though I love dancing to lots of techno and industrial these days, it all pretty much started when I was 10 years old at an uncle’s wedding. I wouldn’t stop! I also loved to dance and sing to NIN back in HS in my room, it let off quite a bit of steam. I hated HS.

4. As a kid I had a tendency to break things when I was mad. Usually joysticks. The last thing I remember destroying was my stereo in college, just kinda dropped it off my desk (like a cat batting things of to test gravity). My friend Josh was there, we were roommates, and were playing Unreal Tournament with others in our Apartment. I blame it on loud KMFDM (or Rammstein, one of those). It still worked, for a little more time. Don’t worry, I’ve seeked help on that since. :-P

5. Since M talked about meeting someone famous, I met Jimmy Fallon when I worked the US Open. It was pretty cool, since we actually were formulating what commentators said during commercial breaks (at the game they stil showed them waiting). I always wondered if he would have Tina Fey or someone write a skit like that. Guess not. Oh well.

6. I did 5 years of college, first year was at Hartford for Computer Engineering, then I went upstate to ACC for ‘Art’, and transferred back to Hartford (Art School) for Design. I was a bit of the odd-ball out, being a Freshman/Sophomore my first semester back, but really a Junior. Needless to say, I didn’t have it in with the art kids. Cool guy smokin hipsters.

Hmmm, who should I tag? I don’t know any cool bloggers.
